You will be awestruck by the shear number of Bald Eagles present at this amazing spot. You will witness groups of bald eagles from 5 to 20 or more fishing, eating, battling and resting in the trees along with a number of other winter birds.
Sit and watch or shoot away as America's National bird does its thing with amazingly plenty of company. Watch as the bald eagles in the area put on amazing show from very comfortable shooting positions. No hiking on this tour. Enjoy warm coffee or hot chocolate and lunch as we hang out and shoot the most amazing raptors in our area. Every season offers beautiful sunsets and you've seen them...amazing scenes, brilliant cloud formations, stunning splashes of color that change minute by minute as the sun sets slowly in the western sky.
You see it, and think... "I should grab my camera" and you start snapping away, but sadly you aren't capturing the depth of what you are seeing. As the days get cooler and frost is in the air, trees and shrubs put on an autumn show in all shades of red, yellow, purple, and brown. The splendor of crisp fall days and vibrant leaves in our area provide stunning landscapes and breathtaking scenes that need to be captured.
This is one of our favorite tours of the year, and the timing of these moments is crucial for the maximum colors. This year maximum fall colors are forecasted to be from, approximately, September 20th to October 15th, give or take and we will be booking tours weekly into some of the best landscapes in our area.

Photography 101 Workshop
This 2 hour workshop focuses on learning how to take advantage of the features of your camera and other equipment to maximize your shooting potential.
We will cover topics like camera sensor and shutter operation, the different shooting modes of your camera and how to make important adjustments on the fly as well as drive modes, focus area and other functions and concepts.
We will break into photo composition and be hands on the entire time so you become more and more comfortable with your gear and finally...

Photo Editing 101
This 2 hour workshop focuses on learning how to adjust the shot you took into the shot you saw, after you arrive back at home and are sitting in front of your computer. What?!
Tell me if this sounds familiar. You've gone out shooting, just arrived home excited to see the shots you took and you open them on your computer and "Oh no!", the composition is there, but they look flat and dull or the colors seem off...
Did you just waste all that time? Are all those shots trash?
Nope, not with this class. Photo editing 101 - In this class we will teach you how to recover the shots that are too dark, the shots that look dull, the shots that don't pop! We'll teach you how to take that shot in post processing from "Nice shot!" to "WOW!"... Learn how to edit your photos and go from "Oh." to Pro!

Your Instructor
Erik Lydick a professional nature photographer that leads photo tours to some of our areas most beautiful and wild places. Together, we will aim to explore the best locations at the best time for an unforgettable experience.
You'll join us in class, on site or in the field and together with our instructors and tour guides, you'll receive guided instruction on the landscape, insects and animals around us. With our instructor/guides on site you will learn more and more about the world around you and with instruction, you'll bring home the pictures to treasure the experience for years to come.
Though many of our classes are aimed at beginners and intermediate camera users, our tours are available for all skill levels and all are welcome, from beginner to professional.
Our typical group size is limited to 1 to 8 people so each person gets personalized attention.
