101 Workshop with 3 Hour Guided Nature Tour
Thank you for your interest in Divine Nature Photography Tours. I am very excited to share with you my passion of combining photography with the divine nature of this beautiful place we call earth.
We have a Summer Photography Package (#S1013HT) that would fit your needs.
During this workshop, there will be practical labs to help you adjust on the fly so you can move from taking pictures to capturing beauty and creating art. We will look to help you develop your own personal vision and take your photography to the next level while having fun.
The package includes:
• 101 Workshop (minimum of 1 hour)
• Guided Instructional 3 Hour Nature Tour
• Field shoot debrief
THE Workshop
The initial workshop will focus on learning how to take advantage of the features of your camera and equipment to maximize its potential. We will discuss the foundational principles of solid photography to get you off of “auto” mode and into manual like the pros, and we will dive into the specifics around ISO, Aperture and Shutter Speed.
It is difficult to take good pictures without having a solid understanding of the “Exposure Triangle“. In this workshop we will work through these aspects so we can understand how ISO, shutter speed and aperture work together to allow professional photographers to fully take charge of the camera. Knowing how to adjust the settings of the camera when needed, helps to get the best out of your camera and push it to its limits to take great photographs.
THE Nature Tour
After the workshop we will set out into the field to find and capture nature in all its beauty.
Based on the time of year and the shooting preference of the group we will set out to one of many locations in our area to put the workshop knowledge into practice. We will shoot together, and you will receive instructional tips while shooting to refine and improve your shooting knowledge and expect lots of laughter, beauty and of course, get ready to enjoy all that nature has to offer on that particular day.
The Debrief
Finally, after the field shoot, we will stop for a quick coffee or bite to eat to recap and review the photo captures of the day and perhaps even plan our next adventure together. We will bid each other farewell and launch you into the field to capture the beauty around us.
The cost for the workshop is $375 per person**
** additional charges might apply for some field site access and travel costs might occur for field sites past 1 hour drive for instructor. All bookings are refundable minus $75.00 cancelation fee.
